It was an amazing evening when Erik and Rachel hosted their wedding at the Leftbank Annex located in Portland, near the Rose Garden. This was the first time I was asked to shoot video for a wedding. Erik and Rachel made things easy for me by planning an excellentorius (that’s a word) event, and filming at the Leftbank Annex was stupendouso (that’s spanish for awesome).

February 27, 2012A while back I had the honor of covering Darryl and Sara’s Wedding in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Years later they have a new addition to their family, Violet. So we went out in Portland, Oregon and spend sometime walking around and enjoyed a brief break in the weather.

Building Champions Experience Recap
February 23, 2012For the past couple of years I’ve worked with Building Champions and helped cover their event The Experience purely through still photography. This year we kicked it up a notch and added video to mix.
Video is a whole new beast, but I love it. Also being able to use the same equipment that I use for shooting stills (Canon 5D Mark II), makes things so versatile.
Be sure to switch over the quality to HD.
Portland Wedding | Florist Blum Design In Flowers | Vendor Spotlight
December 20, 2011
Having the ability to tell the story of someone through video here in Portland is an amazing thing. Over the next couple of weeks and months I’m going to be featuring some of the most amazing Portland Wedding Vendors that this city has to offer.
First up, Blum; Design in Flowers. It’s owner Jordan Gladow has an amazing story of how she got involved with flowers while in college, that ended up taking her all the way to London to work for a major floist there. Now that she’s back stateside and she is sharing with her portland wedding clients what she has learned over the years to create timeless arrangements, that are still very clean and modern.
Human Investing | Corporate Portraits | Lake Oswego
December 3, 2011Recently I was asked by an amazing Lake Oswego company called Human Investing to take some relaxed corporate headshots. Honestly it was great to take portraits this way. Admittedly in the past whenever I had done any sort of corporate portraits in Portland, they always would come off as school yearbook photos. Well never again! The way in which I went about this shoot was totally different and an amazing experience. Not only because I got to meet with some great financial minds, but also because I believe clients will get to show their personality more through a relaxed corporate photograph.
